jhilla asked: Totally agree man. Esquire ran a piece a few days ago about how to "break the rules of black tie" or some shit like that. It actually made me kinda angry.

forwardfitting asked: Hey, thanks for the like on the Mashburn suedes (sorry I don't know how to use the respond feature) - yes, I bought them, they came in last night! Very excited...Your calf ones are breaking in very nicely, I really enjoyed your photoset, and your Tumblr in general, definitely keep it up. I noticed you said "fourth year in college" - do you go to Virginia by any chance?

Castleberry: Most of the people on Tumblr are teenagers. So there’s a lot of junk out there. F.E....

GQ's Oral History Article →
I have mixed feelings on the Oral History article from GQ this morning.  As a writer/reader, I really enjoy the way it’s written in a “soundbite-ish” sense.  Content wise, I had no idea about the origins of the menswear blogging “movement” beyond a certain level.  GQ does a fantastic job painting a vivid picture of what’s been developing across the blogosphere for the past 4-5...
